good morning, folks.

some thoughts for this sunday morning...

what i need to be doing with my laptop on weekends is writing cover letters and putting together resume packages.

what i'd like to be doing is putting together foolish quote posts and reviews and suchlike and i'd like to have more time to spend on what i write here so that...well, so that it's better.

so i'm not going to be here for the month of august. if something really, truly, worldshakingly nifty shows up -- pictures from the 4th series of torchwood, for example, or news of some foreign sci-fi thing that isn't being immediately optioned and remade by hollywood -- i'll be back, but other than that, look for me in september.

have a nice -- cool! -- august and i'll see you in sept.
